What are the benefits of taking the cleanse?

Turmeric is traditionally used to relieve digestive discomfort, reduce inflammation &free radicals in the body. Zinc is used to relieve symptoms of acne, breakouts& inflamed skin whilst maintaining skin integrity & structure. L-Glutamine assists in the repair of the gut-wall-lining, whilst supporting immune function and membrane health.  Peppermint& Fennel help to reduce indigestion, bloating & gassiness and may also aid the relief of menstrual cramps. Our blend of probiotics is specifically formulated to restore beneficial gut flora, support immune & gut function, relieve symptoms of IBS, aid nutrient absorption and protect against harmful bacteria.

Will I experience any side effects doing the cleanse?

If you have nevercompleted a cleanse before, it is common that you might experience mildsymptoms including headaches, skin breakouts, body aches & pains, generalfatigue and diarrhoea or constipation. Experiencing these is completely normalwhen doing a detox or cleanse. These symptoms can also be a sign of food orchemical withdrawal - the cleanse might be removing something that was built upin your body for a long period of time.

Can I do anything to prevent getting side effects?

We understand they are uncomfortable, so here’s what you can do to help:

- Limit consumption of sugary, junk & processedfoods & alcohol at least 2-3 days prior to starting the cleanse and for theduration of the cleanse.

- Drink at least 2.5-3 litres of water per day.

- Avoid intense exercise for the first week of your cleanse.

When will I feel changes or see results?

Everyone will have a different experience & response when taking our products. While some people may notice changes within the first week, others may take a little longer. Most people see results by the end of the 20 days, whilst some see more significant results after 40 days (two cleanses). The most important thing is to take the capsules consistently.

Is the cleanse supported by scientific research?

Our products are developed by a Naturopathic & Herbal expert and all formulations are supported by scientific & evidence-based research. Each indication (claim) for our products are permitted for use by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) based upon the evidence and research provided. These claims are carefully & regularly reviewed as per TGA guidelines.

What are some signs that I might need a cleanse?

If you’re experiencing any of the below symptoms, it might be time for a cleanse:

Digestive Issues; bloating, gassiness, reflux , flatulence, lactose intolerant, IBS or IBD.

Poor Immune System; frequent flu symptoms, high stress levels, slow healing wounds,constant fatigue.

Poor Skin Health; acne, random breakouts, cystic breakouts, rosacea, itchy skin, flaky scaly skin, skin rashes, ageing skin, skin dullness or redness, premature ageing.

Bowel Issues; IBS or IBD, constipation, diarrhea, unprocessed foods in stool, pain or discomfort in abdomen, excess gas.

Frequent headaches; or constant migraines, nausea, vertigo, dizziness, vomiting.

Body odour; bad breath, increased B.O. , smelly urine and/or stool.

Who should do a cleanse?

If you’re wanting to discover clear & glowing skin, digestive ease, calmer insides or just all-round better health, then a cleanse is for you! You would also benefit from a cleanse if you are doing any of these: 1. Uses Antibiotics 2. Drinks Alcohol 3. Smokes Cigarettes 4. Consumes processed foods 5. How often should I do the Gut Cleanse Kit?

Initially doing the cleanse twice, back-to-back is the best way to achieving those next level results! We do recommend repeating the cleanse every 3-4 months.

Are PuraU products TGA approved?

Yep! All PuraU products are approved by the TGA and have a valid AUST L number.

What should I do if I miss a dose?

We get it, it’s a lot! If you miss one dose (1 repair, 1 replenish, 1 restore) it’s fine to double up for the next dose that same day. If you miss a whole day of capsules, we don’t recommend doubling up on the following day. You will makeup for the missed day/s at the end of the cleanse.

Can I take the Gut Cleanse Kit while pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive?

Unfortunately our products are not specifically formulated to take during this time and there maybe contraindications. If you wish to take the cleanse while pregnant,breastfeeding or try to conceive, we recommend consulting your health professional first.

Can men take PuraU products as well?

What are the ingredients in the Gut Cleanse Kit?

Repair:

Each hard capsule contains: Curcuma longa (Turmeric) extract dry concentrate 10mg, derived from dry rhizome 500mg. Berberis vulgaris (Barberry) extract dry concentrate 83.34mg, derived from dry root bark 500mg. Zingiber officinale (Ginger) extract dry concentrate 31.82mg, derived from dry rhizome 350mg. Vaccinium macrocarpon (Cranberry) extract dry concentrate 1mg, derived from fresh fruit 500mg. Calcium pantothenate (Vit B5) 25mg Equiv. To pantothenic acid 22.9mg. Pyridoxine HCL (Vit B6) 25mg, Equiv. To pyridoxine 20.57mg. Taurine 300mg. 

Replenish: 

Each hard capsule contains: Althaea officinalis (Marshmallow) extract dry concentrate 125mg, derived from dry root 500mg. Foeniculum Vulgare (Fennel) extract dry concentrate 70mg, derived from dry fruit 350mg. Mentha Haplocalyx (Peppermint) extract dry concentrate 70mg, derived from dry herb top 350mg. Glutamine 200mg. Restore:

Can the probiotics in the Restore capsules cause side effects?

When first taking probiotics, you may experience bloating, abdominal discomfort or diarrhoea whilst your gut microbiome adjusts to the new bacteria.

Am I still able to do the Gut Cleanse Kit if I have IBS or IBD?

Yep! Our Gut Cleanse Kit contains all natural antioxidants and anti-inflammatories that may help to achieve calmer insides and is free from any nasties that could cause harm. It also contains probiotics & prebiotics which have been shown to help with IBS and other inflammatory gut health issues.

Is the cleanse vegan?

Yes.

Is the cleanse gluten free?

Yes.

When/how do I take the capsules?

Take 1 of each capsule, 3 times daily with meals. You can take them before, during or after your meal!

Do I follow a special diet when doing the cleanse?

We recommend limiting your intake of refined & processed foods and alcohol for the duration of the cleanse. You will also receive our FREE Cleansing Protocol +Recipe eBook upon purchase to help with this!

How should I store the capsules?

We suggest storing the RESTORE capsules in the fridge to ensure stability for the probiotics. You can store the REPAIR & REPLENISH products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

What happens if I enter an incomplete or incorrect address at checkout?

If you happen to enter an incomplete or incorrect address while checking out your parcel may be undeliverable and will be returned back to us. In this case, we are able to have it re-shipped with a re-shipping fee of $10 AUD. PuraU are not held liable if you enter an incomplete or incorrect address. If you notice your incorrect address after check out, please email support@purau.com.au ASAP and we can have this fixed before dispatch. If your order has already been dispatched, not to worry, you can still redirect your parcel through the Australia Post tracking link we provide you with on your shipping confirmation email.

What is your refunds policy?

Unfortunately due to health regulations we cannot accept returns of our products if you have changed your mind. Please ensure you choose carefully before purchasing and that you are selecting a product based on the advice from your health professional.

OTHER RETURNS

Where required under Australian Consumer Law, PuraU will accept returns and provide you with an exchange, repair or refund (as applicable) where:

The product is damaged, or the product is faulty, and you can present your online tax invoice or other adequate proof of purchase.

PuraU may elect to return the product to the manufacturer to determine the nature of the problem.

PuraU reserves the right not to offer an exchange, refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect.

What happens if I fail to collect my parcel?

If the parcel was unable to be delivered and is not collected from your local post office within 14 days, it will be returned back to us. If you wish to have it re-shipped we can do so with a re-shipping fee of $10 AUD. If you wish to be refunded, we will refund you the cost of your purchase minus $20 AUD for the shipping fee to and from your address. PuraU are not held liable for parcels that have failed to be collected.
